*no annual deductible, no exclusions
for pre-existing conditions |
The Providence 500 plan has a $500 annual
deductible and a $1,500 annual out of pocket maximum. This is
an example of a low deductible health plan. The ODS 2500 is a
$2,500 annual deductible plan with a $7,500 annual out of pocket
maximum.
|
This plan is an example of a high deductible
or catastrophic health insurance plan. Combining a high deductible
plan like the ODS 2500 and the True Health Plan is a cost effective
alternative to a low deductible health insurance plan. In only
two years the premium savings from combining the two plans can
be enough to cover the full out of pocket for routine primary
health care for that period and to save the full out of pocket
when catastrophic insurance is needed. For those not excluded
and who can manage the expense, it is strongly recommended to
combine the True Health Plan with a catastrophic health insurance
plan.
